Village Book Clubs Select July Reads

The Village Book Club will meet on Tuesday, July 5 at 1:30 pm on Zoom.

They will be discussingFrench Braid by Anne Tyler, afunny, joyful journey deep into one Baltimore family's foibles, from a boyfriend with a red Chevy in the 1950s up to a longed-for reunion with a grandchild in our pandemic present. The Book Club: Second Chapter will meet on Monday, July 18 at 2:00 pm at Sandy Rubin's apartment. They will discuss The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford, the first book in a trilogy about an upper-class English family in the interwar period focusing on the romantic life of Linda Radlett, as narrated by her cousin, Fanny Logan.
