In case you’re wondering what I’ve been up to recently (as I’ve been remiss in keeping up with emails and a few other things) perhaps the above picture will let you know. I wasn’t alone in assembling furniture as several wonderfully helpful volunteers joined me. Together we assembled 22 chairs and unpacked another 25 of a different variety.  We want to have enough comfortable seating for everyone that joins us at the new Village Square!

Next week on Wednesday, May 20th, we’ll be moving our Village office from the Broadmoor (where we’ve been since our inception in 2012) to the new Square across the street at 3520 Connecticut Avenue (2nd floor).  The Square is accessible via a ramp from the alley that runs between Ordway and Porter Streets.  The easiest way to find us is to go up Ordway and take a right at Laredo Mexican restaurant.  Our new aqua door (pictured below) will be in front of you at the end of the alley.  The accessible ramp is to the left of the door.
