We've Moved!

We've moved!  The Village Square is open and we want you to come in and see our new community living room. We are located at 3520 Connecticut Ave, NW, Suite 23.   The Village Square is located directly in front of the Cleveland Park Metro (West side of Connecticut Ave). From the street level, you can get to us in two ways:

1.  Walk up the black metal exterior staircase (under the Subway sandwich shop sign) on the left side of the building. When you get to the next level, you will see the aqua door on your right and can ring the bell for entry.

2.  If you want to avoid stairs, walk South on Connecticut Ave to Ordway Street.  Turn right onto Ordway and walk to your first alley entrance (just past Laredo Mexican restaurant) and turn right into the alley.The aqua door will be in front of you at the end of the alley. There is a ramp in the alley entrance.  Once you go up the ramp, please ring the doorbell at the aqua door and we will let you in.

We will be open Monday through Friday from 9am until 5pm and hope you'll stop in and enjoy your new living room! For special events, such as our new movie night and Cleveland Park Day, we will stay open later in the evening or on weekends.  Speaking of Cleveland Park Day, the Village Square will be open for the festivities on Sunday, June 7th from noon until 5pm.  We have a special line dance party planned.  We will have two line dance sessions at 1 and 2pm respectively.  Join us for some great fun but also know that line dancing is a powerful, science-backed activity for cognitive health. By combining physical aerobic exercise with mental choreography, it stimulates the brain's hippocampus—the region responsible for memory.

Also during Cleveland Park Day, a nurse from Sibley Memorial Hospital's Stroke Team will be in the Village Square from 12 - 3 pm to do blood pressure screenings.  Registration is not required to participate in either line dancing or the blood pressure screening. The Sibley Senior Association will also be present in the Square throughout the day to discuss their offerings and answer questions.
