Village Announcements!
Frank is on a well-deserved vacation and will be back in the Village office on Monday, July 20, so the "From Frank" column is on a brief hiatus today and next Friday. In the meantime, we have a few announcements:
Seeking Helpers for Tree Box Maintenance DayWe have been undertaking some work on the tree box in front of The Village Square building to make it look nice. Currently we are seeking some volunteer helpers to come out for a group work session to do some weeding, spread mulch, among other tasks. If you are interested in helping with this beautification project, please send an email to the Village office. You don't need to be an official Village volunteer to help out!Plans for a Musical Afternoon
Some in our community have expressed interest in a casual afternoon of musical performances at The Village Square. If you play an instrument or sing (or both!) and would like to be part of a line-up of those sharing their talents at this event, please let us know.
Contributing to the Village Square Library
One of our goals at The Square is to have a robust collection of books for those who wish to come by and read. Please consider donating a favorite book for our library, or multiple books if you are trying to declutter! If you are an author, we also have a special shelf for members' books. Let us know if you'd like to make a contribution. Thanks so much to those who have already given books!
