This year's auction kick-off party will be held on the scenic rooftop of The Crescendo at City Ridge

This upcoming Wednesday, August 26th, you can eat-in or order take out at Nando's Peri Peri in Woodley Park and the restaurant will give us 40% of their gross receipts (!) when you mention Cleveland & Woodley Park Village. If ordering online (Wednesday the 26th only), use the promo code NANDOS2026 and your order will be credited to our fundraiser. This is an easy way to help raise funds for the Village while enjoying a delicious meal! As my current favorite celebrity chef, Ina Garten, says, "How easy is that?" So have a great meal, support a business in the neighborhood, and raise funds for the Village! If you would like to dine with a group of Villagers, join us at 6:30 at Nando's, located at 2631, Connecticut Ave, NW.

Please also save Thursday, October 1, for our annual, online auction kick-off party. This year we will be on the lovely rooftop of the Crescendo at City Ridge! Tickets are $75 per person and include 2 drink tickets (and we'll be serving a signature cocktail of French 75s among other beverages) and offer a lovely array of hors d'oeuvres and the opportunity to bid on a few items, only available for bidding that evening! Stay tuned for more details, but you can purchase your tickets now! Be there or be square (as no one says any longer, but I still think is cute!)

P.S. In August, we had a snafu with the US Postal Service, and our calendars were not delivered into your mailbox. The September calendar is chock full and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the calendars arrive promptly this month.
