In-person Outdoor Tai Chi Classes Begin Again
OUTDOOR IN PERSON CLASSES in beginners Tai Chi begin again on Tuesday, June 15, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM; for those who know none, part of, or all of the Yang Short Form (a.k.a. “37-Posture Tai Chi a.k.a. “Cheng Man-ching Form”). Social distance will be observed.
Location: Classes meet once a week on a partially shaded lawn beside Cleveland Park Congregational United Church of Christ, 3400 Lowell St., NW, Washington, DC 20016.
Curriculum: Beginners Tai Chi (37-posture Yang Style).
When: 8 Tuesdays, 2:30 – 3:30 PM, starting June 15, 2021.
Tuition:. Members pay no tuition. Non-members are encouraged to make a tax deductible $100 donation to the Village to cover costs.
Members: The class is free to you, but please e-mail Frank to let him know that you’re planning to attend, so that your name will appear on the roster. For non-members to register for this 8-week session, please send a check for $100.00, payable to “Cleveland & Woodley Park Village,” to PO BOX 11231, Wash, DC 20008; or, if you become a member of Cleveland &Woodley Park Village, your classes for one year will be free of charge. For membership information, see www.cwpv.org. Once we determine whether we have enough students to hold a class, we will announce whether the class is on or cancelled. (If the class doesn’t happen we will, of course, return or destroy your check.)
