From Frank ... a little history with your spring?

A few clouds and little rain didn't disrupt a wonderful tour of the historic call boxes located in Cleveland Park this week. With insights provided by our tour guide and local historian Judy Hubbard (a Village member!), we enjoyed absorbing a bit of history as we walked the neighborhood and took in the early blooming cherries and daffodils. More than one member remarked about how informative it was. Luckily for us, Judy has also offered to give a similar tour on the history of Connecticut Avenue. Given the upcoming changes to this strip, it will certainly be interesting to learn of its history! Stay tuned for more details.

April Plans are Coming Together

In next week’s newsletter, we hope to announce some new in-person events for April! I don’t want to give away too much, but given how I am the youngest in my family and grew up teasing my sisters, I’ll just say this: if you like food, music, camaraderie, and maybe even a little team competition, you’ll have several events from which to choose!

Check out the Village Blog.

Did you know we have a Village Blog? You've probably seen it and not realized what it was, but front and center on the Village website is our "Village Blog." Don't be intimidated, check it out. We use our blog as a place to read many of the articles that appear in this newsletter. But it also has other important information and stories about the Village.

So if you ever delete your newsletter or are looking for a past article, you can find it on the blog. Simply go to the homepage and scroll down beyond the pictures and you’ll see many articles of interest. You can show us some love and click the little heart to let us know what you’ve read and that you enjoyed the article!
