Labor Day is approaching, and autumn won’t be long in coming. I hope everyone has had a fun and safe summer season! As we think of fall, the Village program is beginning to fill up and there is a great roster of exciting programs coming up.
Here’s a short list of some September events to get you started. Don't forget to check out our full calendar of events to see what else is in store. We’d love to see you at as many events as you can fit into your schedule. Free Balance Clinic at Adas Israel On Friday, September 2 at 1:30 pm, Pivot Physical Therapy (located in Cleveland Park) will hold a fall prevention and balance assessment clinic that will be free of charge. The clinic will be held outside at Adas Israel Congregation. Many thanks to both Pivot and Adas Israel for their donations of time and space in support of the Village. Register here. Volunteer Happy Hour at PetitMonde All volunteers are invited to this special happy hour on the outside patio at PetitMonde on Thursday, September 8! We will have pizzas and everyone's first drink is on the Village. This is a great opportunity to meet other Village volunteers, be sure to register soon as space is limited! Register here. Tuesday Talks are Back! Tuesday Talks will return this month on September 20 at 7:00 pm with A History of Woodley Park featuring speaker Judy Waxman.
