Free Concert at Maret

Join us onSaturday, October 17 at 2:00 pm for a special outdoor solo performance by singer/guitarist Will McCarry on the grounds of the Maret School. Will McCarry is a singer/songwriter based in Washington, DC writing rhythmic and expressive folk-rock. He also performs as part of the indie-rock band Wylder. Wylder’s sprawling and ambitious releases include Rain and Laura (2016) and Golden Age Thinking (2019)—records that embrace their enigmatic but unmistakable brand of energetic and lyrically-driven indie-rock.

Will's music has been heard on PBS, MTV, Voices of America, and NPR. His 2018 appearance on Pat Monahan’s Sirius XM program Train Tracks kicked off a successful run on AAA radio stations across the country, and In 2019, his music reached an even larger audience when the track “At the End pt. 1” was featured during a key moment on the hit ABC series The Good Doctor. He has performed alongside an array of artists including Barenaked Ladies, Sister Hazel, Vanessa Carlton, Jukebox the Ghost, and Colony House.

In order to prioritize the safety of our attendees, this event will be limited to 25 participants, and guests will be seated 6 feet apart. Mask wearing and social distancing are mandatory for this event. Registration is required, please e-mail us to reserve your spot. Reservations will be available for Village members first, and we will have a waiting list for non-members.
