The Summer Spritz was a success!
Thanks to many of you, the Village raised over $18,000 in ticket sales and donations during the event, and together with generous sponsorships and auction sales, we exceeded our overall fundraising goal.
A number of people who viewed the event said they really enjoyed the live auctions and hearing from elected officials, Village members and volunteers, and our special celebrity guest speaker, Mo Rocca. Of course, more than one person said that just seeing Frank in a gold bow tie was worth the price of admission!
Many thanks to all who purchased a ticket to the Summer Spritz, made an additional contribution, or bid on auction items. With 40% of our operating expenses funded by the Summer Spritz, we couldn’t do it without generous donors and sponsors! Thanks to a successful Summer Spritz, the Village can do what it does best: empower independence, serve with kindness, create connections, and be there for older adults in Cleveland & Woodley Park.
