The Spritz: Silent auction bidding starts Monday July 26

The Summer Spritz Silent Auction is almost here! Open to one and all, there is something for everyone in our silent auction. Tired of your own cooking? Bid on local restaurant gift certificates (e.g., Barcelona, Cactus Cantina, Silver, Medium Rare, Surfside, Lillies, and Chef Geoff’s), or make a day trip out of it and bid on a gift certificate for brunch at the lovely Salamander Resort and Spa in Middleburg, VA. Learn something new or just have fun at our ever-popular cocktail or dinner salons hosted by Village supporters, including salons featuring Kathleen Kennedy-Townsend, a holiday piano sing-along, and local authors like Ruth Kassinger, Jeffrey Rosen, and Evan Osnos. You can also bid on artwork, jewelry, signed books, and theatre and Nats tickets.

Silent auction bidding starts this Monday, July 26, and the auction will remain open until midnight on Sunday, Aug. 1. This Monday, we’ll provide easy instructions for registering and bidding on the online auction.

In addition, we have reserved three very special items for bidding only at the live auction during the Spritz event: dinner for 8 catered by our Executive Director (and former personal chef), Frank Finamore; a side table by Maine designer and craftsman, Eben Blaney of Eben Blaney Fine Contemporary Furniture, and a trip package to NYC including theater tickets and dinner!

The Summer Spritz fundraiser provides nearly 40% of our operating revenue each year so your help is critical. Many thanks, in advance, for your ticket purchase, donation, or bid on an auction item. However you can support us, we appreciate you!
