Help Make "No-Sew" Scarves for The Brooks Family Shelter! Without any sewing (or experience) needed, you can help make scarves for residents of The Brooks, Ward 3's Short-Term Family Housing shelter serving families experiencing homelessness. We are putting together a team of Villagers to assemble the scarves on Tuesday, December 5 at Pat Wittie’s home from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. The scarf making "party" is open to Village members, volunteers, and supporters. We hope for at least 15 people to join. There will likely be a $10 materials fee (paid to the Village, cash or check). Each participant will be able to take home a scarf. Please e-mail the Village office if you are interested.
