Purpose:
To Offer Carmel Partners, the new owner, an opportunity to engage with the community more fully than before about their plans for the Wardman site and to offer the community an opportunity to discuss the larger potential of the site (new zoning, new maps, Woodley Park planning process about to begin) and hear speakers on key topics
Next Steps: The Historic Preservation Review Board's (HPRB) second hearing on the former Wardman Hotel site will be on Thursday, April 28th in the morning. Public comments are welcome on HPRB cases. The final deadline for submitting written public comments on cases on April 28 is April 27 at 10 am. Be sure to include the Case Number: HPA No. 22-146 revised concept when you write. Comments received after the final deadline will held for the record but not distributed to the HPRB members in time for the hearing. Submit comments to historic.preservation@dc.gov.
To testify before the HPRB via Webex, you must register 24 hours in advance of the meeting by 10 am, Wednesday April 27 . Please submit your name and the case you wish to testify on by emailing historic.preservation@dc.gov. Instructions for testifying will be emailed to you in advance of the meeting.
