The art and antiques we surround ourselves with in our homes can add great joy to our daily lives. In this presentation we will hear from appraiser Sarah Reeder, who will provide an overview about appraisals of art and antiques.
Topics will include explaining what a qualified appraisal report should look like, the different types of appraisal reports and the situations that potentially prompt having them prepared, strategies for how to determine if your current insurance coverage is sufficient to protect your collections, things to consider if you are thinking about having an appraisal, and insights about how to communicate to family members about which special heirloom pieces you really love and why.
