Thanksgiving Meal Delivery to Village Members
Thanksgiving is coming up soon! In the spirit of the Village, where “neighbors help neighbors” we want to be there for each of our members on this important American holiday. We’re making plans to deliver meals and to hold a session by Zoom at 4pm (and conference call for those that want to participate by telephone) where we can each share some company and talk about those things for which we are thankful, even during this difficult time.
Village members, if you would like to have a meal delivered on Thanksgiving, please send us an e-mail and let us know. We anticipate that meals will be delivered by volunteers and you will be able to simply reheat the meal.
Meals will be made by volunteers or you can purchase your meal from Lillies restaurant in Woodley Park for $32 per person. Medium Rare restaurant is also offering free Thanksgiving meals and delivery for people aged 70+ on Thanksgiving. You can e-mail them atsecretsauceme@mediumrarerestaurant.com.
