This message is for volunteers who provide direct services to our members:
In the new year, Cleveland & Woodley Park Village will be updating its methods and procedures used to notify our volunteers of member service requests and to match volunteers with members to fulfill services. We will be using a new website/software called Helpful Village that will streamline this process and allow volunteers to directly sign up for tasks they are interested in.
We will be holding two mandatory trainings (using Zoom) to show volunteers how to create a log-in and update their volunteer profile, and demonstrate how the new matching system will work. Volunteers are only required to attend one of the two trainings. The first training will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 5:30 pm, and will be catered specifically to volunteer drivers, though non-driving volunteers are welcome to attend. The second training will be held on Wednesday, December 9 at 12:00 pm.
