From Claire ...

As we usher in the month of April, we are greeted with a sense of hope and renewal. The cold winter months are behind us, and we are now looking forward to the warmer days of spring. It's a time when nature comes alive, and so do we. There’s a lot to do this month at the Village, including several new programs.

Programs Coming In April

  • Volunteer Happy Hour on April 13. I'm looking forward to our next volunteer happy hour on April 13. Volunteers are the lifeblood of any organization, and it's important to recognize and appreciate their contributions. This happy hour is a great way to do just that and to connect with other volunteers.

  • Caregiving Discussion on April 14. One of the programs that I'm particularly excited about is the caregiving discussion on April 14 with playwright Paula Stone. Caregiving can be a challenging and emotional experience, and it's important to have a supportive community to turn to. Paula Stone has written extensively on the subject, and her insights are sure to be invaluable.

  • Game Group on April 19. The second meeting of the game group on April 19 is another program that promises to be a lot of fun. Games are a great way to relax and unwind, and it's always good to connect with like-minded individuals.

  • Brookside Gardens on April 27. For those who love nature, the outing to Brookside Gardens on April 27 is not to be missed. Brookside Gardens is a beautiful oasis in Montgomery County and it's a perfect place to connect with nature and recharge your batteries.

  • New Member Social on April 27. And, if you're new to the community, the new member social at The Broadmoor on April 27 is a great way to connect with other members and learn more about all the Village’s programs and activities that are available.

All in all, there's a lot to look forward to in the month of April. Whether you're looking to connect with others, learn something new, or just have fun, there's sure to be something for everyone. So, mark your calendars and get ready for a great month ahead!
