Hands-on cooking courses.
The George Washington University Culinary Medicine Program is offering FREE hands-on cooking courses. The free cooking courses are open to the public and geared towards community members. Participants make healthy, delicious recipes each week, and learn basic nutrition concepts such as building a healthy meal, eating on a budget, meal planning, and how to cross-utilize leftovers. We now offer both in-person and virtual courses:
In-Person Course: Cook alongside your classmates and instructors in our new Seva Teaching Kitchen at 1810 K Street NW, Washington, DC.
Virtual Course: Participate in live courses via Zoom, cooking from your own kitchen.
