Eyeglasses and Hearing Aid Donation Drive a Big Success!

Recently we asked the community to help us collect eyeglasses and hearing aids to be donated to the Washington Palisades- Georgetown Lions Club. Because the Lions Club has generously supported the Village with an annual grant, we wanted to, in turn, support their program to repurpose eyeglasses and hearing aids to those in need.

We knew that our community would be generous but we were sure surprised at how many were donated! Many thanks to our co-chair, Sandy Rubin, who planned, organized, and then collected these donations. It really does take a Village! Many thanks.
