Updated: Aug 16, 2023

Fri Aug 18th 7:00pm - 8:30pm on Zoom

Kris Kington-Barker

Join a discussion about end-of-life (EOL) doulas sponsored by the Center for Mindful Living. Have you heard of death doulas? Do you want to learn more? Kris Kington-Barker, the Director of Outreach & Care Provider Programs at the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA) will describe the services and support an EOL doula can provide to those who are dying and their loved ones. Learn more about Kris on the INELDA website.

End-of-life doulas provide companionship, comfort, and guidance to those facing a terminal illness or death. Doulas offer non-medical support including emotional, spiritual, and practical care. Doulas can help the dying person and the people around them to talk about death in a supportive, compassionate environment. Doulas can also support conversations about death at any stage of life.
