Capitol Hill Village Panel: How to be an Antiracist

Monday, February 22 at 7:00 pm

(On Zoom)

Hear members of the Capitol Hill Village Antiracism Reading Group discuss their reactions to reading this much-talked about book by Ibram X. Kendi. An essayist and academic, Kendi has, in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, become one of the country’s preeminent writers on antiracist themes. His book was selected by several members of the CHV’s Antiracist Group to delve into the issue over two months. Presenters will discuss the overall structure of the book and specific chapters and subjects. Attendees do not have to have read the book to listen in, but we hope they will sign up to learn more about this key reading. There will time for questions at the end.
