Shirley and Dave met with Frank Finamore and Board member John Wiecking “in the dead of winter” outside their Connecticut Avenue apartment. They wanted to learn more about the Village and were impressed that these two gentlemen made it happen despite Covid restrictions. They joined the Village right away. Shirley said that this kind attentiveness has never failed.
Neither Shirley nor Dave can drive, so they very much value that friendly, on-time volunteer help is available now. They follow the weekly newsletter regularly and have found useful information. They look forward to meeting new people at in-person activities as they come alive, hopefully soon.
